Medical Health experts say that not waking up with an erection early in the morning, especially when it becomes constant, could be an indication of erectile dysfunction, noting that men should watch out for such a sign.

Urologist experts have pointed out that while it is normal for men sometimes not to see an erection in the early morning, as it may have already happened during sleep, it should not persist over time.

According to them, a constant lack of erection in the early morning can be an indication of the state of a man’s erectile function.

Erectile dysfunction is the inability to get or maintain an erection that is firm enough to have sex. Some men experience it during times of stress. However, according to experts, frequent cases of erectile dysfunction can be a sign of other health problems that need treatment.

Talk with PUNCHHealth, one of the experts and professor of surgery, KehindeTijani, said men should also be concerned if their lack of erection early in the morning interferes with their sex life.

Speaking in an interview with our correspondent, Tijani, who is also a consultant urologist, stressed that it is not essential for men to have an erection early in the morning every day. On the contrary, the most important thing is to have a good erection during coital activities.

He added, however, that “loss of erection early in the morning can be an indicator of potential problems with coital activities and even systemic problems involving blood vessels.

“It can be a guide to the state of an individual’s erectile function, although its relevance tends to be overstated.”

He added that “many normal men don’t get an erection early in the morning but have no problem with coital activities. The most important thing is to have a good erection during coital activities,” he added. He underlines.

Tijani, however, said that any man who observes this lack of erection in the early morning for a constant period should seek help, especially if he has erection problems during coital activities.

Also speak with PUNCHHealth, consulting urologist Dr Badmus Adeola said that a normal person might not have an erection early in the morning every day because it could have happened while sleeping, the person should see a urologist if the situation becomes persistent.

He added that the story of no erection early in the morning can be used to differentiate the type of erectile dysfunction a person has.
